An open letter? who will answer?
This is in reference to the recent recruitment of J&K Bank which has put hundreds of hardworking youth in astray. While J&K bank claimed to follow transparent recruitment policy and so written test was conducted by IBPS Mumbai. Later interviews conducted by J&K bank had already put candidates under worry. Because after a fair test by IBPS, it was followed by mess in J&K Bank. What happened aftermath?
Questions which arise in mind:
1. What was actually the policy behind these selections?
2. Was there any merit list formulated?
3. Did actually selection was made on written test and interview if yes then was there any weight allotted on each step?
4. Why was not list made public in a reputed newspaper or banks website?
5. Why is that banks websites just says if one has qualified or not?
6. Why are not scores of candidates mentioned?
7. Why there is not any waiting list?
8. If bank claims that they have recruited 1050 candidates, what's the proof that some of them might not have been part of the recruitment process?
9. Is it that Bank wants to generate its net worth from Job seekers and not banking activities?
10. Has J&K bank lost transparency and accountability after Dr. Haseeb Drabu left?
11. Last but never the least: Has career of candidates in Jammu and Kashmir become a tool to pool money from poor and is it that these posts are meant for sons and daughters of VIP's?
Questions are many but who is going to answer. Why doesn't our media and authorities keep a vigil on corruption, backdoor entries and mafia. Is is that these issues should remain for Sheherbeen on Radio Kashmir which hardly reaches massess. Is is that journalism has become a joke for these culprits whereby one issue replaces another just to grow sales. This is a call from hundreds of youth
to our media that why It happens only in kashmir. Only Kashmir.
